Valeria is 19 year old who despite her young age has suffered with tonsillitis since 2015. When the discomfort in her throat began she thought it was just a sore throat, but it soon turned into unbearable pain. Valeria went to her local community clinic, St Jude Neighborhood Center, and discovered she had an abscess in the tonsils. The abscess was removed, but it continued to grow back, six times to be exact and had to take antibiotics to control the pain. It was then when Valeria was referred to AccessOC to receive a Tonsillectomy. AccessOC was able to connect Valeria to Dr. Bui from St Jude Medical Center and is now recovering well.
